Jeevan TV began its transmission on 14th July 2002, marking a new era in Malayalam satellite television as the fourth regional private satellite television channel operating from Kerala. From the very beginning, the channel focused primarily on News and Current Affairs programmes, earning trust and credibility among viewers. Entertainment programmes were also introduced as part of the daily chart, making Jeevan TV a true family channel.
On 1st May 2003, Jeevan TV was formally re-launched with a new logo at a grand event in Kochi, signaling a fresh identity and renewed commitment to infotainment. This milestone marked the channel’s transition from a primarily news-focused broadcaster to a balanced mix of news, current affairs, and entertainment, aligning with its tagline “The Complete Family Channel.”
